Do Asian women face unfair expectations from their in-laws?

Nomia Iqbal asked callers if parent-in-laws have unfair expectations of Asian women. This is after a woman wrote into an Asian agony aunt column saying that she's referred to as the daughter-in-law that can't cook, despite having a post-graduate degree and earning more than her in-laws.
