How BBC Radio Norfolk was born on the toss of a coin

Ex-Controller of BBC Local Radio Michael Barton remembers making the right call in 1979, when both the BBC and commercial radio wanted to launch in Norfolk. BBC Radio Norfolk first went on air at 5.55pm on the 11th of September 1980.
