‘Liverpool have been very smart to agree Keita deal now’

European football journalist Raphael Honigstein says Liverpool have acted intelligently to agree a deal for RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita.

The Guinea midfielder will move to Anfield in July 2018 after the Reds agreed to pay his £48m release clause and an undisclosed premium.

Honigstein says that represents good value for the 22-year-old.
