Mills: Liverpool aren’t a big club anymore
Former England international Danny Mills believes Liverpool have dropped in stature after years without league success.
Brazilian midfielder Phillipe Coutinho has stated his desire to leave Anfield this summer for Barcelona and the club have failed so far in their pursuit of Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.
The Reds’ transfer window troubles confirm the club’s decline in the eyes of Mills, who said: “Liverpool fans have to realise that they are not quite the pull they used to be.”
