Waddle: ‘Current England side doesn’t have any leaders’
The current England side does not contain any leaders, says former winger Chris Waddle.
Manager Gareth Southgate must appoint a new captain after Wayne Rooney’s international retirement this week.
However, Waddle, who won 62 caps for England, says those in the frame for the armband could all find their places in jeopardy.
“It’s very easy to lose your shirt now - and that’s a problem,” he added.
