The first Indian woman to win a medal at a Paralympic Games
Last year in Rio, Deepa Malik became the first Indian woman to win a medal at a Paralympic Games winning a sliver medal in the women's shot put. She is paralysed from the waist down. Her daughter Devika is also a para-athlete.
