Anti-Erdogan March In Turkey's Istanbul
It's been billed as the biggest protest seen in Turkey since last year's failed coup
More than a-hundred thousand demonstrators have rallied in the Turkish city of Istanbul in a public show of defiance against President Recip Tayyip Erdogan.
Iraq's Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has congratulated soldiers in Mosul for liberating the city from militants of the so-called Islamic State.
The head of Democratic Republic of Congo's electoral commission says it's not possible to organise presidential elections by the end of this year. The move goes against a political agreement with the opposition which has accused President Joseph Kabila of clinging to power.
