Campbell: People running British athletics are 'killing the sport'

Olympic gold medallist Darren Campbell says the people running athletics in Great Britain are "killing the sport".

Cambell said: "The people running the sport in Great Britain, and I will say it, are killing the sport.

"You're not thinking about the volunteers, you're not thinking about the people that give their time to the sport.

"You're not thinking about the fans, you're not actually even thinking about the athletes.

Cambell was speaking at the Great Britain Team Trials in Birmingham.

UK Athletics have said that 'car parking passes were made available to athletes as per previous years. If athletes have mistakenly ended up paying it is not because of a change of approach or 'disconnect'.'
