Sam Clines is a 19-year-old singer/songwriter from Worcester who plays an electric guitar and a kick drum.
He describes his music as "eerie indie which branches off into elements of jazz and soul" with influences such as Ben Howard, Foals and Amy Winehouse.
"I've been making music ever since my parents dragged me to my first piano lesson at the age of 8 and I've been playing ever since.
"I picked up the guitar when I was 16 and started writing and falling in love with 60s and 70s music".
"Ben Sidwell of BBC Midlands Today poked his head around my door and said “you’re going to love this artist” and he wasn’t wrong! Beautifully intricate melodies awash with magical effects delivered with a stunning live show." - Andrew Marston

The Linton Festival nr Ross-on-Wye

This year, The Linton Festival celebrates its 17th year - championing the very best in live rock and blues since 2001.
The event began when some of the regulars of The Alma Inn realised it would be cheaper to get The Producers to come to Linton, rather than hire a mini bus and drive all the way to Poole in Dorset.
Then they decided rather than having one band - they'd have loads!

Drumming workshop

A brand new drumming workshop has been taking place at the Palace Theatre in Redditch, led by some of the country's top performers.
The UK National Drum Fair is now looking to hold these events every month, giving people the opportunity to learn new techniques and ask questions.
This comes just two weeks after BBC Hereford & Worcester awarded an official blue plaque to the town's John Bonham, the powerhouse behind Led Zeppelin.

BBC Introducing at the Nozstock Festival

Our next recording session takes place on Sunday 23 July at the Nozstock Festival near Bromyard, with acts on our very own BBC Introducing stage.
Russell Howard describes it as "a rural slice of English eccentricity" and Phill Jupitus & The Blockheads say "Nozstock is the best festival of its size in the UK".
This event started as a family BBQ more than 15 years ago that just got out of hand!
This year, they will be ‘Keepin’ it Surreal’ - a broad church as far as themes go.
Acts include Seasick Steve, Happy Mondays, The Correspondents, Krafty Kuts & Dynamite MC.
