May Apologises to Tory MPs for Election ‘Mess’

The British Prime Minister, Theresa May, has apologised to members of the ruling Conservative Party, after it lost seats in last Thursday’s general election. She told a meeting of MPs in Westminster: “I got us into this mess, and I’m going to get us out of it.”
