O’Driscoll thought spear tackle was going to kill him - Eddie O’Sullivan
Ex-Ireland coach says Brian O’Driscoll feared death when he was spear-tackled in 2005.
O’Driscoll was carried off on a stretcher with a dislocated shoulder just minutes into the opening test against the All Blacks in Christchurch.
New Zealand’s Tana Umaga and Keven Mealamu were the culprits and O’Sullivan suggested not everyone has moved on. “It will be a talking point for a long, long time. It won’t go away because there was no apology and no justice” he said.
