‘Allardyce looks set to retire’
BBC senior football reporter Ian Dennis says we may have seen the last of Sam Allardyce as a manager.
Allardyce has resigned as Crystal Palace boss five months after he joined the Premier League club, and within his statement he said: "I have no ambitions to take another job".
Dennis believes the statement strongly suggests his career maybe over, saying "It sounds as if he's [Allardyce] going to retire”.
