Andy Burnham: Manchester 'numb with grief'
Manchester mayor Andy Burnham says terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena which has left 22 dead is the city's "darkest day".
Speaking to 5 live's Tony Livesey ahead of a vigil in the city centre, the former Labour MP said the city was 'numb with grief' following the suicide bomb blast at the end of an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena.
However, he praised the "incredible acts of bravery and selflessness of people" in the aftermath who helped victims.
