Manchester attack: Explosion blew eyewitness off feet
Manchester blast eyewitness Andy describes what happened to him at the Manchester Arena while waiting for his wife and daughter to leave a concert in the city centre venue.
“There’s a foyer above the station, like a big white area near the box office, and then there’s about 10 white doors. The other side of the white doors is the arena itself with a 30 foot gap and then the arena doors.
“I wasn’t in the concert, my wife and daughter were. I’m stood near the white doors talking to the staff – talking to this girl in a yellow jacket. The explosion goes off and me and her get thrown forward into the arena.”
