Listed chimneys could be demolished

The Grade II listed chimneys of the Stewartby Brickworks could soon be knocked down.
An application has been submitted to Bedford Borough Council by the owners of the land, Hanson, which says the chimneys are structurally unsafe.
Campaigners are opposing the move.
