Black men and Mental Health
Black men are 17 times more likely to be diagnosed with a serious mental health condition and six times more likely than a white man to be an inpatient in a mental health unit. Experts say the statistics may not be so bad, if issues of mental health are recognised and tackled early. Rene Lucas-Williams is an athlete and event organiser. He speaks about depression in the following interview with BBC presenter Dr Joe Aldred
