Martyn Williams: Way Jamie Roberts learned of Lions' exclusion 'brutal'

Former Wales and British and Irish Lions flanker Martyn Williams says Jamie Roberts had got his hopes up after rumours on social media that he been selected for the Lions squad.

Despite the reports online, Roberts missed out when the team was announced the following day.

Williams said: "That would have been an absolute brutal announcement for him to take."
