Longwy: Glad to be back on the map
Longwy has a proud history as a steel town but has not recovered from the closure of its foundries in the 1970s.
Becoming a stage on the Tour de France puts Longwy back in the spotlight - but some residents question whether that is enough to bring in the income they need.
Once known for their left-wing leanings, the voters in Longwy now want politicians who can stop the town's decline.
