US/Japan Talks To Focus on Trade & North Korea
The two allies are determined to show a front of unity
The US vice-president, Mike Pence, is holding talks with the Japanese prime minister, Shinzo Abe, with the meeting focused on the increasing security threat from North Korea.
Mr Pence is also expected to discuss opportunities to promote bilateral trade agreements and attract Japanese infrastructure investment in the United States.
