QUIRKY WEATHER WORDS
Paul Hudson has some fun with Roarie Bummlers and Witches Knickers - genuine words for weather conditions.
On the Paul Hudson Weather Show this week - our Look North Weatherman hears some quirky weather words from a man who is set on reviving expressions such as Roarie Bummlers and Witches Knickers. Paul may even be trying to include them in his forecasts. He learns about some brand new graphics which are used in video games to create interactive weather conditions. And as the hay fever season starts - he's finding out how the Met Office forecast the pollen count. Plus a scientist from York who has unearthed some interesting facts about ancient woodland - and his Weatherwatcher from Holbeach in Lincolnshire.
