'I blame myself'

Sukhi Atwal's 12 year old son, Amar, was killed by a speeding taxi driver in 2015. He was not wearing a seat belt. Taxi driver Nadeem Hussain, who ignored Give Way signs was jailed for six years in December after a jury found him guilty of causing death by dangerous driving. Sukhi has now joined forces with West Midlands Police for an awareness campaign, highlighting the consequences of not wearing a seat-belt. She told Shazia about the devastation it has had on her family.
