Budapest’s New Politics

This week Hungary’s government surprised everyone when it withdrew its bid for Budapest to host the 2024 Olympic Games. The move was a response to public discontent with the right-wing administration but also a sign that a new political movement intent on tackling social injustice is gaining support. Laura Maxwell spoke to Nick Thorpe in Hungary.
