Signs your gaffer is about to be sacked - Jenas

Jermaine Jenas reveals the type of managerial behaviour that signals the sack is imminent.

Jenas recalls his time at Tottenham in 2008, where during a training session manager Juande Ramos decided to play both Jenas and Tom Huddlestone out of position on the wings.

The former England midfielder says when managers are under pressure they change things in an attempt to "break the mould", but following Ramos' bizarre player positioning, it made him think “gaffer, your time’s up here”.

Jenas was proved to be right, as Ramos was sacked later that evening.
