The UN children's agency says political failure and conflict were to blame for new famine

The United Nations says almost 1.5m children are at risk of dying of starvation in four countries in Africa and the Middle East. One of the world's biggest banks, HSBC, has reported a large fall in profits last year.

Mehreen Faruqi - the first Muslim woman to be a member of parliament in Australia - is fighting back against social media trolls who bombard her with sexist and racist abuse by starting a Facebook page campaign called 'Love Letters to Mehreen'.
