North Korea Launches Test Missile Towards Japan
The ballistic missile was fired just as the US and Japanese leaders were meeting
The US Pentagon confirms it tracked the test launch of what it said was a medium or intermediate-range missile fired by North Korea into the Sea of Japan. The Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe, who's on a visit to the United States, condemned the missile launch as "intolerable". US President Donald Trump pledged his country's "100%" support for Japan.
