Redknapp: Lampard will go 'to the very top' of management
Frank Lampard will go "to the very top" of football management, says his former boss at West Ham and uncle Harry Redknapp.
The 38-year-old former Chelsea and England midfielder, who was given his West Ham debut by Redknapp in 1996, announced his retirement from playing on Thursday
On the possibility of Lampard becoming a manager, Redknapp told Eleanor Oldroyd on 5 live Sport: "I think he'll be fantastic - he knows the game inside out. He's a very clever guy off the pitch.
“If he decides to go down that road he'll go to the very top in management.”
