Happy 25th Birthday BBC Radio Berkshire

Howard Hughes launched the radio station on the 21st January 1992.

Andrew Peach reminisced with Howard on the breakfast show, including playing BBC Radio Berkshire's first ever moments on air.

The station started life as a sister station to nearby BBC Radio Oxford, broadcasting for part of the weekday and on weekday mornings.

BBC Radio Berkshire is currently based at Caversham Park, the building is also home to BBC Monitoring.
