New homes in Gloucester prison

The revised plans for the redevelopment of Gloucester Prison are being put on display today.

The plans changed after remains of the original prison and the 12th century castle were discovered during an archaeological dig in 2015.

Developers are currently planning on building 200 apartments on the site of the former prison, which closed in 2013.
