The dog ate my Christmas cake!

Listener Pat from Wokingham served it to her family anyway.

"It was a Christmas cake on Christmas Eve, I left it on the table thinking that's fine, then in the kitchen I went back out there and there were teeth marks on this cake...there it was, missing quite a decent section.

"She was sitting there looking so guilty.

"She'd just taken these lumps of the top, so I then cut a step in my cake and cut out all the dog dribble bits."
