Japan PM Arrives for Pearl Harbor Visit

Pearl Harbor was bombed by Japan in 1941, drawing the United States into World War II.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is in Hawaii, meeting with outgoing US President Barack Obama. A Japanese attack on the Pearl Harbor naval base in 1941 led to US military involvement in World War Two.

The Philippines has continued to feel the effects of typhoon Nina, or typhoon Nock-Ten as it's also being called.
