Japan's PM Shinzo Abe Visits Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbor was bombed by Japan in 1941, an act that drew the United States into World War Two.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is in Hawaii, meeting with outgoing US President Barack Obama. A Japanese attack on the Pearl Harbor naval base in 1941 led to US military involvement in World War Two.

The Philippines has continued to feel the effects of typhoon Nina, or typhoon Nock-Ten as it's also being called.

Victims of the ongoing South Sudanese conflict tell of their experiences of the violence, which has killed tens of thousands and left over 2 million displaced since 2013.
