Fire triggers uncontrolled explosion and causes multiple deaths at fireworks market
An explosion has ripped through the San Pablito fireworks market north of Mexico City. The detonation caused dozens of deaths and was spectacularly caught on camera. Many more people are being treated in hospital for burns.
A manhunt has been launched in Germany to catch the person responsible for Monday night’s attack on a Christmas market. Twelve people were killed when a truck was driven into crowds of people in Berlin. Police earlier released a Pakistani asylum seeker who was detained at the time of the attack.
We hear from Iraq and the thousands of refugees fleeing fighting as government forces attempt to recapture the city of Mosul.
