Syrian authorities demand the liberation of pro-government fighters from nearby towns

The planned evacuation of Syrian rebels and civilians from eastern Aleppo has been delayed by government demands for rebel groups to free pro-government fighters from nearby towns.

The US limits the delivery of arms sales to Saudi Arabia following concerns over civilian casualties linked to air strikes in Yemen.
