Government forces Retake Key District of Aleppo

Syrian activists say government forces have retaken another key district of eastern Aleppo from the rebels, during a night of intense bombardment.

Scientists say they are concerned at the rate at which methane is increasing in the atmosphere. After a period of relative stagnation in the 2000s, levels of the gas are now surging.

Most human misery is due not to economic factors but to failed relationships and physical and mental illness.
