Sir Tom Courtenay reads Larkin's First Sight
At Westminster Abbey Philip Larkin has been given a place alongside great figures from English literature such as Chaucer, Dickens, Thomas Hardy and George Eliot.
A memorial stone to him was unveiled in Poets' Corner, 31 years after his death. Sir Tom Courtenay played Philip Larkin in a one man show he devised in 2002. He describes how funny and clever the poet was.
