Lawro: Forgetting cue ‘is like a footballer not putting his boots on'

Former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson can't believe that Mark King forgot his snooker cue after the interval at the UK Championships.

Lawrenson said: "how can you forget your cue, it’s like a footballer not putting his boots on.”

King was docked a frame for his mistake, and went on to suffer a 6-2 first-round defeat to fellow Englishman Sam Craigie.
