Springbok World Cup winner, Hennie Le Roux details why this current South Africa side are so poor.
Le Roux, who won the World Cup in 1995 blames a "lack of respect" from the players. He said: "I don't think the coaching, management team are quite up to the level that would be expected. I think there's a significant lack of respect in terms of [the coaching team] having the players' respect."
South Africa have had a tough year following heavy defeats to New Zealand and a surprise loss to Argentina in the Rugby Championship. Le Roux, 49, believes the current players struggle to accept instructions from head coach Allister Coetzee, adding: "If I had to place myself in a Springbok team today and I had to be told, guided or advised what the focal point would be in a test match at any given time, I'd want to be able to receive that direction from someone who is skilled enough to pass on the right information and I need to believe in that guidance."
