
Trump Expresses Desire for 'Strong Relationship' with Russia
Putin & Trump to normalise relations; Poland exhumes former president's body; Dadaab camp
Donald Trump has spoken by telephone with the Russian President Vladimir Putin for the first time since he won the race to the White House. Mr Trump's office said he had expressed his desire for a strong and enduring relationship with Russia. The Kremlin said they had agreed to work to normalise ties on the basis of equality and non-interference.
Polish prosecutors have begun to exhume the bodies of the country's former president, Lech Kaczynski, and his wife as part of a fresh investigation into the plane crash that killed them.
The human rights group, Amnesty International, has accused the Kenyan authorities of coercing the Somali residents of a giant refugee camp to return home. Amnesty says government officials have told people in the Dadaab camp, which accommodates more than a quarter of a million people, that they will be forced to leave if they have not gone by the end of the month.
