The Kremlin says President Putin and Donald Trump have agreed to try to normalise relations once he takes office.
Our special correspondent Ian Pannell reports from Mexico on the surge there in the production of heroin.
At least eight Nigerian Shia Muslims and one police officer have been killed in clashes with police at a religious procession in Kano city, police say.
