The Oxford Book Club - Catherine Chanter - 25th October 2016
David Prever is joined by author of The Well, Catherine Chanter from Oxford. They discuss what makes a good Booker Prize nominee, and look ahead to the Woodstock Poetry Festival. Catherine recommends the Pulitzer Prize-winner All the Light We Cannot See by Antony Doerr. It's about the lives of two children during the Second World War: a blind French girl and a geeky German orphan. Catherine is equally full of praise for the "poetic and compelling" The Outrun by Amy Liptrot.
