River of Music: That iconic 1963 recording of Allegri's Miserere

This game-changing recording of Allegri's Miserere was made at King's College, Cambridge, in 1963, and featured Roy Goodman as the treble soloist with that thrilling high C. 1963 also marked the first televised broadcast of Nine Lessons and Carols, also from King's.
