River of Music: Tchaikovsky's Symphony No.5
The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra was founded by Daniel Barenboim and Edward Said in 1999 as a "workshop for Israeli, Palestinian and other Arab musicians". Since then, they've become a distinct musical force and a regular guest at the BBC Proms.
