Find Jeremy the 'lefty' snail a mate
A rare garden snail, with an anticlockwise shell, a "lefty" has been discovered in London. It's an exciting discovery but sadly for 'Jeremy' his life isn't quite so great. He can only mate with another unique lefty.
Nottingham University's resident snail expert Dr Angus Davison says rightys and leftys can't get it on because their genitals are in the wrong place so he wants our listeners to search their gardens to find another lefty snail for his to mate with.
If you find a snail, email us: today@bbc.co.uk or reach us on social using the hashtag #snaillove
Now, get digging.
