Sweet-toothed shoplifter returns to pay after CCTV shared online

A sweet-toothed shoplifter, who along with his family stole numerous items of confectionery from a Bedfordshire sweetshop, returned to pay after CCTV footage was shared online.

The video, posted on Facebook by Linzi Marie Cake Supplies and Confectionery in Leighton Buzzard, shows a family of four stealing about £25-worth of goods.

Ms Marie said the man "gave a lot of excuses" about why it happened and then paid for the goods.
