Joey Barton 'will never play for Rangers again'

BBC Scotland's Tom English says midfielder Joey Barton will never play for Rangers again.

Barton signed for the Ibrox side in May this year but has been suspended for three weeks by the club, six days after he was sent home from training following a heated argument with a team-mate.

The 34-year-old has made himself "deeply unpopular in the dressing room", according to English.

"His appearances have been really poor. The league presents a physical and psychological challenge and he's flunked it big time," he added.
