The Syrian army has announced the start of a new offensive against rebel-held eastern Aleppo. The US and Russia have again failed to agree on how to revive a truce.
Prosecutors in the US state of Oklahoma have charged a white policewoman with manslaughter for shooting an unarmed black man last week.
And eleven men and women marched for 250 km to the Somali capital, Mogadishu, to show their country is safe.
