Syrian Army Announces New Aleppo Offensive

The Syrian army has announced the start of a new offensive against rebel-held eastern Aleppo. The US and Russia have again failed to agree on how to revive a truce.

Tensions between India and Pakistan are high again following an attack on Indian military base on Sunday in Kashmir, close to the Line of Control.
