Fire destroys timber-framed hall

A timber-framed building that was once used by the Young Citizen's Guild in Hemsby has been destroyed in a fire.

Holiday chalets near the site, which were all occupied, had to be evacuated as a precaution.

Narrow roads made access to the site difficult for firefighters.

The building is now a pile of ashes. An investigation will look into the cause of the fire.
