Aid Convoy Hit in Syria as Ceasefire Ends

Thousands of people have been forced to flee the Moria refugee camp on the Greek island of Lesbos, after fires swept through the camp. Fighting between different national groups within the camp is believed to be the cause of the blaze. Reports indicate that between three and four thousand people have been left without shelter.

The authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo say seventeen people, three of them policemen, one of whom was burned alive, have been killed in the latest protests against President Joseph Kabila.
