More Than 80 People Killed by Lorry in Nice, France

Nice town carnage; Millions of children not in school in sub-Saharan Africa; Rolling Stone Mick Jagger to be a father again

The French interior minister says eighty people were killed when a lorry drove at high speed through a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day in the city of Nice. The driver of the lorry hasn't been identified but French media are reporting that identity papers, belonging to a 31-year-old French-Tunisian were found inside the vehicle..

UNESCO says that at least half of young people aged between 15 and 17 in sub-Saharan Africa are not in school, the highest rate for any region in the world. In total, more than 93m children of primary and secondary school age in sub-Saharan Africa don't receive formal education.

The singer Mick Jagger is expecting his eighth child at the age of seventy two. Representatives of the Rolling Stones frontman have confirmed reports that his girlfriend, Melanie Hamrick -- a ballerina -- is pregnant. She is 29.
